GOP actions are indefensible

The deportation of Pascual Pedro is illegal and wrong. No amount of concern trolling from Althea Cole will ever convince me otherwise, especially since she denies the identities of my transgender friends and neighbors.

This morning I read that all six Iowa congressional representatives voted to destroy public broadcasting. For years I have been a supporting member of Kirkwood's KCCK-FM jazz radio station. IPBN features great documentary series like Nova, Nature and Frontline. The GOP and conservatives must detest great music and truthful scientific and investigative reporting.

Is this the vision conservatives want to impose on this country? No public broadcasting, racist immigration policy and going Russian on LGBTQ people? The GOP vision is dictatorial and despicable, its actions heinous and indefensible. I blanch considering how Cole will defend this latest outrage. We must fight back!
