Golding’s children a display of her abilities

I have known Cindy Golding for many years and urge everyone to vote for her for the Iowa Senate on Nov. 8. There are few people I admire more than Cindy. You can tell a lot about a person's character and moral fiber by observing their children.
All of Cindy's six kids have grown into responsible, caring adults. She taught them personal responsibility by assigning chores around the house, on the farm and in the office from an early age. They learned about civic duty by watching their mom take up causes she believed would help her neighbors and fellow citizens she didn't even know and then getting involved themselves.
She taught them about our Founding Fathers; the struggles they survived and the courage they exhibited in fighting for the establishment of what grew into the world's greatest democracy based on a unique document we call our Constitution. And much more.
I am confident Cindy will excel in the Iowa Senate by bringing her intelligence, enthusiasm and passion to the role of representing her constituents. As a Republican, she believes in individual responsibility, smaller government and fiscal discipline - just like I do. You, too, I hope.
