Golding will always listen to constituents

Cindy Golding is one of my most respected friends. I got to know her as leader of a neighborhood association fighting unwanted annexations for her friends and neighbors. Her own home was not directly involved but her farm was.

Under her leadership, many homeowners were successful in ending up where they wanted, whether it was annexing or remaining in rural Linn County.

Our trips to Des Moines to lobby for changes to the annexation process were informative and fun. Cindy was successful in aligning our association with others in the state to jointly lobby for reform.

One thing I know about Cindy is she will always listen as our senator. If she agrees, she will fight for us. If she disagrees, she will calmly say so and explain why - not just grimace and walk away as so many did to us during our lobbying efforts.

Cindy will make a great senator. I urge everyone to vote for her.
