Glew sees big picture for Marion development

I recently received a mailing from Allen Bouska, candidate for Marion mayor, who clearly identifies himself and others as single-issue candidates. This is not what Marion needs.
I serve as a council member in Marion, representing Ward 4, because I am part of a city that is growing, has outstanding schools, fantastic public safety, great parks and recreation and responsive public services.
We need leaders who will make tough, yet forward-thinking, decisions. I commend Mayor Paul Rehn for being a strong leader. If we want to continue our progress, growth, and have the quality of life that we desire, I strongly urge you all to vote for Nick Glew for mayor. Glew understands the big picture, is willing to negotiate and wants to see the city move forward. He has been a leader among us and understands the needs of business. He wants to move us forward, not backward.
This is a crucial election for Marion. As we continue to grow and get even better, I urge you to support those candidates who are in favor of business growth and development, can see the big picture and who will work hard to enhance our quality of life.
