Give seniors golden years they deserve

To the editor:
No increase in Social Security payments in 2016. When you retire you look forward to doing things you couldn't do in your working years. Gas is expensive, taxes keep going up, groceries keep going up, medical costs keep going up, the politicians keep getting raises. The person who has spent his working career contributing to Social Security gets screwed.
The politicians take the funds and use them to operate the government and fund their pork and welfare programs. It is about time to give the retired people the golden years they deserve and paid for.
