Get out of the way, let private sector work
The Gazette Opinion Staff

During a recent speech, President Barack Obama informed us all that only the private sector can push the economy into some kind of real and sustainable health. What? Has the man actually grasped the obvious? Well, no, because in the same speech he proposed a large new job training program funded, of course, by the federal government. Never mind that more than 30 such programs already exist.
Do you really want to help the private sector, Obama? Stop spending, stop overregulating and just get out of the way. Big government is in his DNA, and he can't think any other way. We'll have to do it for him in November 2012.
