Gazette keeps local scrapbooker busy and inspired

What an inspirational story about Peter Teahen, pilot, and John Ockenfels, co-pilot ('Two men, a single-engine plane and a 20,000-mile mission to fight polio,” Dec. 26). They will put Cedar Rapids, Iowa on the map.

Also, I enjoyed neat pictures and story, 'Iowa football's day on the USS Roosevelt,” Dec. 24.

I do the old-fashioned kind of scrapbooking, and many pictures and articles find a place in my scrapbooks. I'm glad I subscribe to The Gazette!
