Gas tax better option than tolls

To the editor:
Legislatures are talking about fixing Iowa roads. Options to raise funds to fix the roads could include increasing the gas tax or installing toll roads.
In this cold weather who wants to try rolling down a frozen window to pay to use a toll road? In Tama County, it wouldn't be bad, but if you are in Des Moines at rush hour, how long would you have to wait in line to pay for the use of a toll road?
I say raise the gas tax rather than have toll roads.
