Funding for Grassley, Conlin says it all
The Gazette Opinion Staff

This election offers Iowans a stark contrast in the choice for U.S. senator. A simple trip over to the website www.opensecrets.org tells a person about all they need to know about the difference between Roxanne Conlin and incumbent Chuck Grassley.
Grassley, as usual, is getting most of his money from corporations and PACs. On the other hand, Conlin has received nearly all her money from individual contributions.
Corporations and PACs don't exactly contribute. They invest. And the ones that have been investing in Grassley are the very ones that have been causing so much grief in this country: insurance companies, Wall Street bankers and those who send American jobs overseas. And their investments in Grassley have paid big dividends for them.
And with individuals contributing to Conlin's campaign, I think you can get an idea who she will have in mind when she votes in Congress.
Conlin needs your vote so she can represent the citizens of Iowa.
