Free trial wasn't free after all
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Mar. 19, 2011 11:08 am
My wife came to me all excited and said she had just heard an offer for a 30-day free trial for an electric cigarette. She gave me the phone number and I called to get the offer. She had heard this on Fox radio.
When I called, they told me about all the money I could save and, after giving them my name, address and credit card number, they said it would be $156. I immediately said no way and said to forget about it. I then called my credit card people to cancel all charges until I notify them again.
I guess this is why they can afford to pay Rush his big money.
