Free markets don’t always work

I hope Mayor Ron Corbett and Iowa legislators are paying attention to the happenings in Atlantic City.
According to an Associated Press release in the Quad-City Times on Aug. 31, it seems free markets aren't exactly working out real well and thousands are unemployed while the casino gambling industry corrects itself.
Too bad they didn't have a racing and gaming commission like Iowa to prevent this.
If Iowans had wanted a free market in the gambling industry we would still have touch play machines. I don't believe anything has changed since then.
