Former governor should tell it the right way

I am concerned about what former Gov. Terry Branstad recently told the people of Iowa. He said that when he left office the state was $900 million to the good and 4.5 percent unemployment. Now he is saying the state is approximately $1 billion in debt and unemployment is 10 percent.
Terry, I guess you forgot that we went through eight years of George Bush since you left office and Iowa isn't the only state with high unemployment now. I believe if you check you will find that the whole country is in a recession. Please Terry, tell it the right way.
