Football trophy still has positive concept

While the new Cy-Hawk trophy unveiled at the Iowa State Fair appears to have little to do with football (and since has been targeted for replacement), it still has a positive concept.
Since it already has been made, perhaps a good use of it would be to annually require the losing team to take it home and display it, and even require the losing team to donate 100-300 hours of community service to a family-oriented Iowa project. They could do Habitat for Humanity or work in a community garden to help feed the people of Iowa or any of a myriad similar things.
That would be, as sponsors had said, “aspiring to do something above a football trophy. It would celebrate Iowans and the characteristics of Iowans.”
It turns a negative into a positive and is a win-win concept for all of Iowa. And the actual game winners would still receive the newest, more traditional football trophy to take home, the one still to be designed.
