Follow laws or pay the price

I find it hard to believe that people are trying to justify their breaking the law by hoping to have the speed limit and stop light cameras banned. What difference does it make who operates the cameras; whether the cameras are 1,000 feet ahead of a warning sign or only 850; or what the fine money will be used for?
The law says that you don't run through red lights. Period. The law says you don't drive faster than a predetermined speed (55, for example.) For heaven sake, the police even give you a 10+ mph cushion over that limit. For safety sake, follow the laws. Or, pay the price.
