Flood payout should be 100 percent assessment

I believe the payout of 100 percent of the pre-flood assessment is fair. If you go for 110 percent, this will take another year or two to get approved by the state and FEMA, as you can see how long this initial program took to get approved, and there is still no money here for buyouts yet.
The fact that they are saying you can appeal and get a new evaluation done is a no-no because that was valued at June 2008 value.
The pros have been you are not paying taxes on the value you think it should be.
