Firearms shold be treated like vehicles

Why not regulate firearms like motor vehicles?

1. Require registration and licensing of all firearms with mandatory annual renewal.

2. Require potential purchasers to successfully complete a gun safety course.

3. Require proof of liability insurance coverage at time of purchase.

4. Quadruple the taxes on both firearms and ammunition (the governor needs the revenue to keep our schools and colleges open).

5. Unlicensed handguns and rifles can rest in the pawnshops until redeemed by responsible owners.
