Finkenauer is doing the work we need

Nearing the end of her first term in Congress, Rep. Abby Finkenauer has proven she is in D.C. to do the work Iowans sent her there to do. She's worked to lower prescription drug prices, protect people with preexisting conditions and she's also become the youngest woman to sponsor a bill that passed the House.

Critics of Finkenauer like to paint her as a do nothing Dem. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, with the very first bill she sponsored she worked with a Republican from Utah to target the federal government's Small Business Innovative Research program and the Small Business Technology Transfer program.

Rep. Finkenauer represents Iowans and has shown she is willing to do the work Iowans need. She has shown she is willing to reach across the aisle and work with Republicans to help those she represents. This is the type of leadership we need in DC.
