Fight to save our republic

We fought a revolution to escape tyranny (all powerful king). Our Valley Forge soldiers sacrificed their snowy, bare feet by wrapping them in bloody rags. Winning the war, we ratified the Constitution to separate powers and protect the republic.
We have Congress (laws, taxes, tariffs, spending), Judicial (ruling if a law is unclear or violated) and Executive (to follow and enforce our laws).
The 5th amendment guarantees “No person … deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law”
President Donald Trump ignored due process and the Supreme Court ruling against him; violating his oath to uphold the Constitution. It affects us all.
Our Iowa elected members of Congress (all Republicans) are silent.
Many Republicans traditionally support our Constitution; some, not now.
What can we do?
If you are a Democrat, Independent or “rule of law” Republican, I encourage you to contact your county Democrats.
Unless we elect Democrats to Congress, we'll continue to have the rule of law and the Constitution ignored.
It's just practical. My parents and friends once voted Republican, now I support Democrats.
Freedom matters, preserve our republic.
Our feet are warm, not like Valley Forge soldiers. This is our sacrifice, today.
