Festival sales show E. Iowa rebounding

The amazing turnout and healthy sales among the vendors and artisan merchants at the recent Iowa Renaissance Festival prove that Eastern Iowa is moving beyond the recession.
The report is that some of the best sales on the national festival circuit were acquired at the Memorial Day Weekend event in the Amana Colonies.
The Cedar Rapids region has much to be proud of as it discovers its own rebirth/renaissance.
