FCC's Internet move takes away more of our freedom
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Dec. 26, 2010 1:36 pm
Tuesday, we experienced another loss of our freedoms as the Obama administration, through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), moved to prohibit broadband providers from being the ultimate deciders of their Internet traffic.
As access to the Internet becomes more limited, a current (Republican) commissioner of the FCC has said that the new regulations will inhibit capital investment, deter innovation, raise operating costs and increase customer prices.
In this era of spend, borrow and tax, we are seeing the $4 trillion-man (amount borrowed by President Obama's administration) come into his own by depriving ordinary Americans of basic freedoms.
Can't wait to see what's next.
