Fast-growing district reflects good community

I have read in the paper over the past couple of weeks letters questioning the College Community bond vote and encouraging voters to vote no. Some facts about the College Community school district:
l It is the fourth-fastest growing district in the state.
l The average class size has increased to 24.8 students in grades K-4. (My son's class has 26 students.)
l The bond if passed is not expected to raise property tax rates because of growth in the property tax base.
l A growing school district is good for businesses in our communities.
There is a reason why this school district is growing at such a fast pace. Great teachers, great administrators, great school board and parents who care about their children and their futures. Vote yes on Tuesday.
