Fagan will guide C.R.’s economic development

Economic development is critical to city growth and stability. Mayoral candidate Brian Fagan understands the complexities involved in recruiting new companies and supporting existing business in Cedar Rapids.

Fagan realizes that our community must be attractive to workers. To do that, we must provide good wages, affordable housing, dynamic arts and culture choices and safe neighborhoods.

He also recognizes the need for property tax relief, economic incentives and support for business owners. Fagan will lead a coordinated effort with existing local development agencies to focus on the right opportunities to bring new business to our community. He knows our city's long-term economic needs and goals.
