Fagan looks to future and can inspire others

There are a number of reasons why I am supporting Brian Fagan for mayor of Cedar Rapids. First, I have gotten to know Fagan by working with him through my volunteering for the Downtown District and ImpactCR (formally Access Iowa, which Fagan helped found.)
Fagan is a community builder, not a professional politician. Like me, Fagan is a lifelong Cedar Rapidian who loves his hometown. When he says he is “committed to building one great Cedar Rapids” you know that is from his heart and not a line to win an election. He is proud of our city's past and has a true vision for the great city Cedar Rapids can be.
Fagan is looking to the future of our community and has stepped up over the last several years to help with recovery and growth. I see a city led by Fagan as a city that will be led differently than what we have ever seen before. And I think he also has the ability to inspire more people, both young and old, to make Cedar Rapids a stronger city than we ever have been.
That's why Fagan is getting my vote Tuesday.
