Fagan has provided effective leadership

Brian Fagan has been a major contributing force to the City Council for nearly four years. He has been a visible, positive influence. He embodies a cooperative style and is an effective leader. He was instrumental in ensuring that wise, measured decisions followed our catastrophic flood - and that a panic mentality did not emerge.
Now we are beginning to see the results, with confident approaches to buyouts and rebuilding.
A lot more has been accomplished. West of the river, cranes tower over ADM, signifying a billion-dollar investment in our community. On the east side of the river, we have a new federal courthouse going up.
He also supports many other initiatives to ensure a balanced recovery of business, housing and recreation.
Brian has had a key role in making sure the state and nation are aware of our needs. Let's get positive about what our city has accomplished and support a leader who has been part of that progress.
