Factory farms pollute land, air and water

A large percentage of Iowans are opposed to concentrated animal feeding operations, also known as factory farms.
They have good reasons. Factory farms pollute our land, water and air. They are creating antibiotic-resistant pathogens. And the inhumane treatment of the animals in this system is unconscionable. The Ag Gag bill was passed to try and hide this abuse.
If you don't support factory farms, please do not purchase their products. More than 99 percent of all meat, dairy and eggs come from factory farms.
Consider that the next time you buy any type of meat, dairy or eggs. This includes ordering a pizza, going to a restaurant or to the grocery store.
If you want to eat meat and animal products, look for the 1 percent.
Follow Gandhi's advice and 'Be the change you want to see in the world.” Just say no to CAFO products.
