Factory farms more inhumane than hunting

To the lady (Kathy Vande Zandschulp, Dec. 16 letter) who was happy about the decline of hunting: Why be happy about loss of habitat to support hunting? Also, if you eat meat, you are letting animals be killed to feed you.
Go to a slaughter house and you tell me which is more humane: an animal running free and then shot or an animal in a factory farm going to a slaughter house? Most of our meat comes from factory farms, very inhumane.
