Experience at Mercy in C.R. a good one

Recently, a member of our family had surgery at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. The admission was unscheduled because of some unforeseen medical findings.
The medical staff was prompt and efficient. Doctors' orders were thorough and clear. Nursing staff, laboratory, X-ray technicians, cardiopulmonary staff and pastoral care staff were prompt and kind. Advanced directives were completed and notarized.
Our family doctor and surgeon were informative and kept us clearly updated. The experience was positive for both the patient and the family.
We would recommend Mercy Medical Center and thank all the staff who made a difficult situation as comfortable as possible.
