Exercise right to vote and be heard

What an amazing country we live in, one that affords us the most freedoms should we choose to exercise them, and one that came at such a high price from those who fell while defending her honor. Frankly, I am honored to meet such diversity that exists right here in Iowa. Families that risked oppression or sought a better life and were willing to follow a small checklist to protect the sanctity of their freedoms.
In honor of all whom have come before us and down the legal channels to become a citizen with inalienable rights, I say thank you, and to all engaged in the polls, I invite you to join me in a common-sense approach like Paul Pate proposes that protects the very core of our freedoms, the right to vote and be heard while proudly displaying my identification.
