Exercise caution in drawing conclusions

Words fail us in trying to describe this horrible (Newtown shooting) incident. I suggest exercising some caution in drawing conclusions. For example, why is the current media reaction not “racist?” Consider that the number of people murdered by guns in Chicago, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and other inner cities exceeds Newtown every month.
Yet not until 26 innocent white lives are destroyed does “the media” and politicians take up the cry of banning all firearms. Could this be an abuse of the First Amendment?
