Examine important issues from a different perspective

Recent conservative attack on President Obama: his statistics were 'exaggerated” on how many workers would benefit from raising minimum wage. 'There are lies, there are damn lies, and then there are statistics.”
For me, just one worker in the greatest country in the world who works full-time should not have to live in poverty and then subsidized by welfare into which we all have to contribute.
Since only conservatives are against raising, force all conservative politicians into 'earning” minimum wage for one year. In addition, all those in right-wing echo chamber. Lastly, since their base will need to be convinced, pick some from each locality to live on it.
'Walkability” issue. Students should be allowed to attend closest school - if that is their choice - with these significant changes: upgrade facilities and instructors in low-income neighborhoods and neglect all future newer schools/improvements in high-end neighborhoods.
Their kids will be taught by recently graduated teachers as well as teachers whose skills have yet to be refined. Then force all students to take same standardized tests written/scored by people of color.
Veterans and the poor, both with history of problematic health care, will be allowed into Medicare system. Members of both parties, especially conservatives who do not like any federal spending except for wars and tax cuts for the elite, will have to go onto Medicaid, that is if their state Democratic officials take federal funding.
Walk a mile in other people's shoes!
