Event shows residents want boat harbor back

Wow. What a thrilling and outstanding family night put on by the Cedar Boat Club at Ellis Boat Harbor on Aug. 22. This was a night Cedar Rapids residents should be so proud of. The volunteers who gave time, money and energy should be complimented. This was a free night for all in attendance, sponsored by the Cedar Boat Club. The Venetian Night with decorated boats and the fireworks were at their best.
It gives a clear message that the tenants at the Ellis Boat Harbor will be back. We need the support of all residents of Cedar Rapids.
