Ethanol backers support polluting waters

I realize that support for ethanol in the Iowa Legislature is bipartisan. There is a transitive law in logic that states if a=b and b=c, then a=c.
Corn is the major industrial row crop in Iowa that pollutes our water. Ethanol is made from industrial corn. According to the transitive law, if your legislator supports ethanol, and if ethanol is made from industrial corn, then it would seem that your legislator supports polluting Iowa's waters.
