A word about the Senate contest between Joni Ernst and Bruce Braley.
Ernst is a solid fiscal conservative who will dependably vote against increases to our national debt. She will seek opportunities to repeal the estate tax. She will fight for a balanced budget. Her record in the Iowa Senate, albeit brief, reflects this.
Congressman Braley's record reflects a steadfast adherence to the leadership of Nancy Pelosi and a neglect of these basic principles of fiscal stewardship.
He has consistently voted to increase taxes, increase spending and increase our national debt. Perhaps he believes that he is making the right decisions with these votes. He need only consider the present state of our nation to see that he is wrong.
Please consider the need to return to maturity and restraint in order to strengthen America's financial house.
