I find it sad that The Iowa Republican blog has space to criticize the Joni Ernst ad, but can't find the space to tell us about the candidate. It's a shame the blogger hasn't read the April 7 'Weekly Standard' article on Ernst. John McCormack has done an excellent job separating her from the GOP pack.
Ernst embraces the Tea Party's stand on reducing the national debt. Her service in Iraq has helped make her a staunch supporter of veterans' needs.
Her passion for foreign affairs and national security started when as a college student she visited Ukraine and found the people there were more interested in American politics and liberty than American technology.
It may be that the GOP activists are for Mark Jacobs, but we plan on doing our own homework to find out more about Ernst.
