Entertainment complex a good alternative

If I were a gambler, I think I'd be very uncomfortable walking into a casino that worked so hard to shut out Cedar Rapids.
But, what's done is done. Where do we go from here?
I'd like to mention that the land that was designated for the casino and parking lot is located within easy walking distance of the recently built hotel/arena/convention center. Many of the people attending functions there will be flying in and taking a shuttle downtown. During their hours, they'll be looking for a variety of eating places and good entertainment.
How about an entertainment complex (open bowling, a game arcade, a small merry-go-round, bumper cars, an exercise gym, games such as shuffle board, food and snacks; the possibilities are endless)?
Hey, our visitors can't have all the fun, this should be open to all.
