Enough with complaints about speed cameras
N/A
Dec. 4, 2010 11:50 pm
I'm so tired of people complaining they can't speed. Speed limits are for the safety of everyone on the roads.
There's no way you can speed in the downtown area; too many short blocks and stop signs. I have seen many people speed through stop lights only to be caught at the next one. What do you gain? Thirty seconds to where you're going?
These cameras have slowed people down. It has slowed me down at the Center Point and Collins Road intersection. It has reduced accidents.
I feel sorry for the people who have set this up for our safety. They must be tired of all the complaining.
