Elect leaders who can save our country

1. An end to private ownership of land.
2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
3. Abolition of all right to inheritance.
4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants or rebels.
5. Centralization of credit in control of a central bank.
6. Control of communication and transport by the state.
7. More state control of production and of land use.
8. Industrial armies for labor and agriculture.
9. Abolish distinction of town and country for more equable population distribution.
10. Education of all children in government-controlled schools.
Hopefully some of you recognize an abridged version of Karl Marx's 10 planks of “The Communist Manifesto.” The great writers of our Constitution created the best constitutional republic in world history but we have eroded most of it.
It might yet be saved if we elect congressmen and elect or appoint judges who could read and understand. We should want less government, more individual responsibility and with God's help, a better world.
