Marion residents have the opportunity to elect a dynamic leader by voting for Nick AbouAssaly for mayor. A deeply rooted commitment to the community is evidenced through his participation on city council and many volunteer boards and organizations.

As a successful lawyer, he has developed the capacity to listen, objectively analyze situations and find pragmatic solutions to complex problems. As the head of a young family, he is also a strong advocate for quality of life initiatives that support vibrancy throughout the city.

The contagious spirit of optimism that contributed to Marion's designation as an Iowa Great Place is embodied in the character of this candidate for mayor. To keep the momentum moving forward, communities need dedicated leaders who are up to the challenge.
