Efficiency, effectiveness if Clarahan is treasurer

Joe Clarahan has the knowledge and experience to run an efficient and effective Linn County Treasurer's Office. He will improve customer service by cross-training employees to handle multiple transactions and by expanding use of Internet processing.
He will improve fiscal responsibility by directing that all customer payment receipts are processed and proceeds are invested daily.
Joe will maintain the accounting “checks and balances” necessary to ensure the integrity of the Treasurer's Office and the safety of county funds.
