Education is the best medicine

I thank the Cedar Rapids Gazette for publishing “Those who wander” by Hayley Bruce in the Nov. 7
issue. A special thank you to Bob Hanson and his wife, Beverly.
The information shared by Bob Hanson will be most helpful to those experiencing a loved one with dementia.
The Hansons are well known in Cedar Rapids through their real estate business and community service. It truly does “take a village” for families dealing with dementia.
Until a cure is found for this dreaded disease, education is the best medicine.
