Education for all should be priority

As we play with our four precious grandchildren we sometimes worry about their future. But worrying won't help them much, so we must be proactive for them.
One race this election season will be critical to our grandchildren's future: the race for U.S. Senate in Iowa. A Republican win in Iowa could put the entire U.S. Congress in the hands of one party, and that outcome could set into motion a series of changes that will further divide this country into the small group of 'haves” and growing group of 'have-nots.”
We want a future where education for all children is a priority and where young people have a chance for education beyond high school without crippling debt. We want a future where quality health care is a reality for all citizens and where insurance for all actually lessens the cost to the general public. We want a future where the ravages of extreme climate change are held in check before it is too late.
We want so much more for our grandchildren. Much of what our generation has taken for granted.
For our grandchildren's future, we are voting for Bruce Braley for U.S. Senate.
