Economy in good hands with Romney, Ryan
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Aug. 19, 2012 1:49 pm
Former Massachusetts Gov. and presidential candidate Mitt Romney picking Paul Ryan as his vice presidential candidate was brilliant!
Ryan has more than 12 years of experience of working in the government and understands the importance of a federal budget and living within the budget. He knows what it will take to control our national debt and eliminate the deficit.
With Romney's experience and leadership in business and as a governor, jobs will be restored and businesses will flourish again. Our military will again be second to none and respected around the world, as it so richly deserves. Together, they will return this country to where we all can take pride in what a great country it is.
President Barack Obama can't run on his failed record, so his campaign has resorted to lies, deceit and misdirection about Romney and Ryan, which are being refuted by the facts every day. It's really too bad. Obama promised so much, delivered so little and now blames everyone and everything but himself for his failure. Our country deserves better.
