Drzycimski is the ideal CR schools board member

I can’t imagine a better candidate than Scott Drzycimski for the District 2 representative to the Cedar Rapids Community School District Board.

I have been fortunate to work with Scott for many years at two major employers. He served in roles requiring him to work with a variety of public stakeholders on issues that impacted local communities. His commitment to listening, his ability to genuinely hear individuals’ concerns, and his drive to find solutions by building consensus made him a stand out in those roles.

His deep ties to Cedar Rapids and his own experience as a student and parent in the Cedar Rapids school system give him additional insight and experience that will help the board sort through the challenging issues it faces. Scott will deliver significant benefits for the students of Cedar Rapids.

The Cedar Rapids school board needs experienced, passionate, and compassionate leaders to address the challenges before it. I have a difficult time imagining a more ideally suited candidate than Scott Drzycimski.
