Driving is a privilege, not a right

I'm writing in response to people's complaints about the red lights and fighting the unjust seat belt laws and not following the laws on having car insurance. How about now knowing what a stop light or stop sign is for?
Driving is a privilege, not a right. If you don't like the red light cameras, walk. If you don't like the seat belt law, walk. If you don't want to pay auto insurance, walk. If you don't want to stop at a red light or stop sign, walk.
Maybe you should ride with a police officer, state trooper or deputy sheriff and see what a body looks like after it has been thrown 30 to 50 feet from a car, hits the concrete and possibly was run over by a semi, think about it.
Don't carry insurance so when you hit someone it comes out of your paycheck every month to pay their hospital bills. Those speed and red lights cameras are needed and are not entrapment. Drivers are at fault for their own actions and do it intentionally, speeding, running red lights and stop signs. Most drivers could start out a few minutes earlier and obey the speed limit, red lights and get to their destination on time.
These cameras are reducing the crash rates. Every (traffic camera) citation issued was because the law was broken not just a cash cow in Cedar Rapids or Davenport and wherever else they are used.
