How timely The Gazette had an interesting article in the Jan. 13 edition, 'GM seeking to offer a driverless car next year.”
This may be a means to settle the conundrum of the 221,000 speeding tickets verses the city's desire to collect the money owed by the speeders. The city would give the holders of the speeding tickets the opportunity to buy a self driving car in exchange for paying the speeding tickets. The cars will be programmed to obey all traffic laws, so speeding problem solved and the speeding tickets canceled.
Of course, there will be a speeding app that can be purchased for cellphones in case of an emergency. Many exciting and problem solving things for the future.
