Dorman remarks on activists were insulting
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Nov. 25, 2011 11:22 am
I found Mr. Todd Dorman's remarks about the bus crusaders for marriage rights (Nov. 10 column) insulting. If he and people such as state Senate Majority Leader Mike Gronstal are so positive that the voters in Iowa endorse same-sex marriage, why don't they want a vote on it?
We know that Liz Mathis (Senate District 18-elect) was once employed by KCRG-TV9, which is owned by the same company that owns The Gazette. I hope this doesn't mean that we will be inundated with every word she utters.
Perhaps you could fill that space with news on the men and women in service, fighting for all of us.
