Don’t underestimate power of inspiration

Dale Fitzgibbon's Oct. 15 letter, “Accolades piling up for mere intentions,” about putting President Obama's image on our money and Mount Rushmore and crowning him emperor for life, dripped with envy, sarcasm and bitterness. It drives conservatives crazy that President Obama is so well-liked, domestically and internationally.
The blessings God has given America are great. America is the land of ordinary people doing extraordinary work - the land of Walt Disney, George Gershwin, Bill Cosby and Barack Obama. These are artists who lead and inspire.
The power of inspiration, of so-called “mere intentions,” is not to be underestimated or belittled.
