Don't close Second Avenue for medical mall

I am strongly against closing Second Avenue. I've found using Second Avenue as the slickest way to get across town, while avoiding First Avenue traffic. Most of the time all the traffic lights on Second Avenue are in sync and you can just drive straight through with out stopping.
If the proposed new medical mall will be as large and busy as appears, it will need a lot of parking.
Why not have a parking lot on the ground floor, on one side of Second Avenue, build above it and then up and over Second Avenue and then down onto the next block? What do you think?
