Don’t believe Cole’s claim that IPERS is safe

You’ll have to forgive me if I believe Republican legislators are simply not trustworthy advocates in their vociferous support of IPERS, as Althea Cole would have us believe. Because I’m old enough to remember Republicans claiming that Roe v. Wade was settled law before it wasn’t. That Chapter 20 was the law of the land in Iowa before they gutted it. And while they always hated it, they’ve assaulted the Affordable Care Act so many times millions remain uninsured. So no, Ms. Cole, I can’t believe what you say because I see what you do.
