Don’t be foolish with money

Let's suppose you took a handful of money and used it to start a campfire. This would be a foolish thing to do, but at least you would have a campfire.
Use the same handful of money to pay interest on debt you have accumulated and you don't even get a campfire. You get exactly nothing.
The fastest growing segment of the federal government's list of expenditures is interest on the debt and the debt keeps growing. Draw your own conclusion.
